manuTeC - grinding- and polishing machine for manual grinding and polishing
Grinding and polishing of different geometries in small and middle lotsizes.
The idea:
An increasing demand for small and little lot sizes of different geometries requires a new orientation by the conception of new manufacturing conceptions.
The new manuTeC generation should close the gap between manual- and automatic polishing. Especially in the case of heavy and bulky workpieces like car rims, machine blades, chair feet, cooking ware, cymbals and much more.
The principle:
The worker can handle the polishing- / grinding wheel in four axis and reach nearly each area of the workpiece. For a semi automation work, the axis could be clamped by compressed air cylinders.
The workpiece is pneumatically clamped in the system and rotates in the fifth axis.
The worker can guide and press the tool as he work manually, without carrying the weight of the workpiece
The possibilities:
Polishing: With polishing disks in diameters from 200 – 400 mm.

Brushing: With sisal buff
Grinding: With abrasive-strip-ring or abrasive flap ring

Allows stepless adjustment of the tooling- and workpiece rpM

Pneumatic axis break: |
All three mobile axis of the tool can be clamped pneumatically, combined or individual. This makes the work much easier and allows the semi-automation.

Additional polishing spindle: |
Allows quick tool change and reduce working time.

The modular construction and the individual selctable workpiece clamping affords a multifunctional and flexible use of that technology.
Supported by a compressed air cylinder the up- and down movement is much easier.
